COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS  WITH

 ACE Conservators of Pittsburgh

RWOC collaborates with Art Conservation Etc. (ACE Conservators of Pittsburgh), a team of professional conservators preserving art in their hometown of Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. ACE conservators are devoted to museum-quality conservation treatments and collection care.

Senior conservators have over 25 years of conservation experience, maintaining separate private practices in greater western Pennsylvania. We are academically trained in the conservation treatment of fine art, decorative art, contemporary art, cultural objects, and historic artifacts.

Collaboratively and independently, we have cared for fine art from some of Pittsburgh’s most prestigious private collections, museums, galleries, and corporations. Our cooperative large scale projects include outdoor sculpture, murals, and collection surveys. We also work with local Pittsburgh allied arts industries.

ACE promotes general knowledge of preservation and conservation through education and outreach programs at universities and cultural institutions.

As professional members of the American Institute for Conservation, we are committed to the AIC Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice. We encourage the open exchange of information among conservators.

ACE primarily operates out of a climate controlled, 1200 square foot studio location in the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our secure facilities can be customized to accommodate large scale projects.

Our conservators are proud to be certified as Woman Business Enterprises in Allegheny County and the State of Pennsylvania.
